Happy February! Happy Black History Month! Happy Love Month! Happy Fly Eagles Fly Month!
I honestly have no idea where the first ten days of the month went but I'm reporting for duty - fashionably late! Actually now that I think of it, I had the flu the at the end of January going into February. It was brutal. I'm back and ready to dive into this month's challenge for us to conquer the same way the Eagles conquered the Super Bowl! I'm sure you already know which team I as rooting for - E.A.G.L.E.S! Before I get into the challenge, please make sure you take a look at this month's KepPicks - https://www.keptalk.com/keppicks. The theme is: Endurance over Excuses. Excuses are easy. Endurance is powerful.
Speaking of endurance, some of us will need endurance as we commit to financial responsibility.
This month, we are committing to faithful stewardship and financial endurance by eliminating excuses and building better habits. Here’s your 4-week challenge to strengthen your finances with purpose and discipline.
Week 1: Track & Reflect
📌 Challenge: Track every expense for the week. Write down or use an app to log where your money goes.
💡 Reflection: Are your spending habits aligned with your financial goals and values?
Week 2: Cut & Control
📌 Challenge: Identify three unnecessary expenses and cut them for the rest of the month.
💡 Reflection: Where can you be more disciplined? Redirect saved money to savings, debt repayment, or giving.
Week 3: Save & Sow
📌 Challenge: Set a small savings goal and commit to it. If possible, also give or bless someone financially.
💡 Reflection: How does trusting God with your finances impact your mindset?
Week 4: Plan & Prepare
📌 Challenge: Create a simple budget for March based on what you’ve learned.
💡 Reflection: What financial habits do you want to continue beyond February?
Endurance Over Excuses Mindset:
I will not let fear or bad habits control my finances.
I will be a wise steward of what God has given me.
I will stay faithful and consistent, even when it’s uncomfortable.
I will walk in financial freedom, discipline, and trust.
Are you ready to take on this challenge? Let’s make February a month of financial growth and endurance!
Talk soon...very soon,
Keps
